How many sessions will I need?
This is individual and will be based on your needs. During our initial appointment, I can help advise how many sessions you may need. CBT and ACT are goal-oriented and can often be completed within a 3-6 month window. However, I do have clients who find the therapy space so valuable that they choose to continue for longer periods of time. Whether you need short-term or long-term therapy, my goal is to provide you with effective and personalised support on your journey to prioritising your mental health.
No, I specialise in online therapy so all sessions take place on Zoom. Research shows that online therapy has the same effectiveness as face-to-face therapy.
I don't provide urgent or crisis support. If you are feeling suicidal and think you may take action to end your life or harm yourself please go to A&E or call 999. You can also contact your GP or local NHS mental health service for urgent support, or call the Samaritans on 116 123 for emotional support.
Can I work with you if I don't live in the UK?
Yes, I can work with clients all over the world (except for those that live in the US or Canada). All you need is a laptop for Zoom and a good internet connection.
I currently have limited slots available on a Friday morning. I will have more slots open up on a Thursday from Jan 2024.
